Autodesk is a household name for designing and computing professionals in both these sectors, but also for graphic designers, architects, video game developers and many more. All of these amazing pieces of software can be explored on one platform: Autodesk Inventor Pro 2017 (x64). With new updates and features added every year to this powerful 3D modeling program it is easy for designers to learn while building their skills towards the changing technological landscape. Autodesk has announced that Autodesk Inventor 2017 will be the last version in its current form. Future versions of the program will not support 32-bit architecture, and therefore will only run on 64-bit systems. The software will continue to be available for download to existing customers, but users are encouraged to purchase version 2017 for x64 before June 2018. Beginning in mid-2018, new products purchased from Autodesk's online store or dealer network will only be sold in x64 versions. Version 2017 (x64) of Autodesk Inventor Pro adds the following new features:Autodesk Inventor 2017 (x64) is an integrated engineering design package that has many of the functionality of Autodesk's other more specialized CAD software programs, while also providing powerful 3D modeling, simulation, and rendering features. The v2017 document model document format is backward-compatible with prior versions of Autodesk Inventor. By default, 3D models are stored in STL files, which are the industry standard format for manufacturing. However, DXF or 6DS files can also be used to export models. In Inventor, the Visualize option can be used to create a front-view presentation of a model, which can be viewed in the standard Autodesk Display application. The DWG format is also supported as a create/edit file with all file format compatability. All of the features that were available in previous versions of Autodesk Inventor are included in this version as well, so users will notice some interoperability with those programs as well. Autodesk Inventor 2017 (x64) does not support 64-bit architecture on Windows XP and Vista operating systems. On Windows 7 and later operating systems 64-bit architecture is supported on both 32 and 64-bit system architectures. Autodesk Inventor 2017 (x64) supports Windows 8.1 and 10 operating systems. Other operating systems may be supported after the release of this software, but they are currently undetermined. Inventor 2017 (x64) does not support plug-in developers for 64-bit plug-in development. Autodesk has announced this change raised some concerns from users of 64-bit versions of Autodesk products, particularly with plug-ins.
